Campaign Papers

The Dole Campaign Papers comprises 324 linear feet  and spans 1968-1996. Papers relate to Dole’s Senate campaigns, his bid for the Vice-Presidency in 1976, his Presidential primary races of 1980 and 1988, and his unsuccessful run for the Presidency in 1996.

The bulk of the campaign papers will be open to the public in 2011, with Dole/Kemp campaign materials opening in 2016. Researchers who wish to gain access to the papers before they are open to the general public can do so by requesting permission in advance. Please contact Morgan R.
