Alison CarterAlison Heath Carter, Photographer & Marketing Assistant

Alison Heath Carter volunteered at the Dole Institute after the 2003 dedication and officially joined the Dole Institute staff in 2004 as program marketing assistant. Since then she has moved into photography, recording the events and faces of those who have contributed to the Dole Institute's success. Before married life, Alison's twelve-year career in Washington D.C. included two years as a research assistant in Sen. Bob Dole's office and many years as a lobbyist and marketing representative for U.S. grain trade and wheat flour interests. Marketing treated her to travel in Egypt, Sudan, Kenya and Nigeria. Today, she is contentedly settled in Lawrence with husband and daughter. Alison is a KU graduate and a true Bob Dole fan!
