Submit Photo of WWII Kansas Veteran
To date, more than 3,000 photos of Kansas WWII veterans have been submitted for viewing in the Institute’s Memory kiosk. WWII veterans and/or families are still invited to send WWII vet photos to be included in this very special collection.

Guidelines for Submitting Photos
Photo of Kansas WWII veteran in military uniform or casual.- Include: Veteran’s name and Kansas town considered “home;” (other military information is not placed in kiosk...only name & photo).
- Provide your contact name, email and/or mailing address.
- Let us know if veteran attended KU (KU association is not a requirement for inclusion in our photo collection.)
- Kansas WWII Veteran defined as -- native born Kansans or a vet who settled in Kansas after WWII.
- Photos may be in digitial form or any size, black and white or color, prints; please do not send frames.
- Digital photos may be sent via e-mail, preferably in jpeg format and as an attachment to the email.
